Countryside Operatives Full time, permanent 

£22,674 - £26,000 pa dependent on experience 
Hampshire and surrounding counties.

The purpose of the role will be to assist with the practical delivery of countryside and ecology contracting work. 
This role will be ideal for someone with some landscape- or countryside-based work experience and qualifications looking to develop further in the countryside and ecology area of the landscape sector. Full in-house training in the above tasks will be provided. Morton : Pattison is a growing company so there is scope for the right candidate to progress as the company expands. 

Countryside Management Trainees Full time, fixed term 

£18,500 pa  
Hampshire and surrounding counties.

Are you completing a land-based course this summer and thinking about the next steps to kick-start your career? Would you like to work in some of the most beautiful countryside in the south of England? 
We’re opening up for applications to our 6 month Countryside Management Traineeship placements for the winter season of habitat management works. If you’re motivated to gain practical industry experience as part of a supportive team where you can make a tangible difference then we want to hear from you. 

Countryside Apprentice Full time, fixed term  

£13,312 pa  
Hampshire and surrounding counties. 
Closing date - 9am Monday 29th July. 
The purpose of the role will be to assist with the practical delivery of countryside and ecology contracting work while achieveing a Level 2 apprenticeship as a Countryside Worker.  
This is a training role to support personal and professional development. As such, there will be significant on-the-job training to increase knowledge and skills, as well as 7 separate week-long blocks of college release time to study at Sparsholt College.  
 
Example seasonal tasks could include: 
 
Winter - cutting & burning woody species encroaching on rare lowland heath habitat 
Spring - constructing a timber dipping platform alongside a pond for school groups to use 
Summer - Rights of Way cutting to allow public access to the countryside 
Autumn - ground preparation & seeding work to increase species diversity in a grassland
